Going away from a traditional key shape, I instead went with a piece of wood I cut into a triangular shape to conceptualize the solid, workman-like aspect I found in the people of Baltimore and the hand-painted colors that represent the city. Additionally, each side of the triangle has a laser-cut plaque to present what I feel is important to the city; the arts and culture scene (Charm City), academia (MICA, Johns Hopkins, etc.), and finally, how Baltimore cut its teeth (industrial upbringing). The accompanying brochure and website continue the design elements that were established.
